Ulrich Bieger

Worked as a department head and correspondent for the “Neue Rhein Zeitung” and “Die Welt” newspapers and for 15 years at the “Spiegel” news magazine. He spent a number of years as a communications director and spokesman for Salzgitter AG and Bombardier Transportation and since 2014 has been a managing partner of Fasse+Bieger GmbH & Co. KG.

Frank Bürgin

Studied Economics at the Ruhr University Bochum. After beginning his career in print media he switched to the moving images segment. Today he can look back on over 30 years’ experience in film and television – from productions for public broadcaster ARD to social media videos. During this time he has been responsible for authoring, directing and/or producing some 3 000 TV contributions, documentaries, corporate films and portraits. In 2017 he was awarded the “Lorry”, the journalists’ prize of the Ruhr region.

After working as a marketing director for the Pahl-Rugenstein publishing house and as managing director of Pick-Up film productions, he became a correspondent and reporter for German public broadcasters, initially in Cologne and Düsseldorf and later in Bonn, Berlin and Brussels. He currently broadcasts and writes from Paris – including regular contributions to “Cicero” magazine.
